Hello, Here are the instructions for signing up to Memrise. Remember I will be checking the leaderboard in 1 week. Top 3 win prizes! 1. Log on to the computer 2. Go onto the internet and type in www.memrise.com 3. Set up your own account, using your school email address, username and password 4. Now at the top, type in www.memrise.com/user/morganks3french 5. Then click ‘Follow’ 6. Go onto courses, then select ‘Where I live' 7. Your homework will be to practise the vocabulary on here. 8. If any of you have the 'Tune-In Radio' app on your phone check out the French and Spanish radio stations!


Just scroll down to 'By Location' > Europe > France/Spain then choose either the type of music (genre) you want to listen to or the area in France or Spain. It's as simple as peas :).

Remember to check with your parents before you do this please.

Y7 Holidays

Babbel app

One of my fab students has told me about an app called Babbel. Just installed the Spanish version and it seems to be a good (and quite addictive) way of learning vocab and practising pronunciation. There's basic vocab on there as well as more advanced vocab which you have to download but it is all free as far as I'm aware! Give it a go and let me know what you think. Check with your parents before you install it though :). Miss Morgan
